福建省永春县,古称桃源,素有“万紫千红花不谢,冬暖夏凉四序春”的美誉。母亲河桃溪穿城而过,哺育了千万万万的永春儿女,曾经发达的桃溪航运使永春成为海上丝绸之路的重要港口,山货与海货在这里云集交易,留下了“无永不开市”的商贾传奇,也使永春逐渐成为当时福建沿海与内陆山区的重要交通枢纽。
