我县夏玉米产区多属棕壤土类,土壤全钾和速效钾含量较低.由于长期的小麦夏玉米一年两熟制,忽视钾肥使用,加之近期干旱的影响,钾肥已成为我县夏玉米生产上的制约因素.全县因缺钾而形成的玉米“小老苗”面积达8万亩左右.为进一步提高钾肥在夏玉米生产上的增产效果及经济效益,笔者自1979~1985年对全县118次夏玉米追施
