Have you ever used a food wrap? The plastic wrap that is currently on the market is mostly a PE (polyethylene) film (Figure 1) and a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) film. PE film can be used for packaging food in cold and hot environment, but PVC can not be used for heating environment, and it is not suitable for packaging meat, cooked food, oil and other foods.
