福建省的丝虫病监测情况较为复杂，各地市的情况不同，资料也较为分散。为更好地全面了解全省丝虫病的流行动态，提出有效的管理措施，检验监测效果，判定是否达到消灭丝虫病的标准并预测达到消灭的时间，安排消灭丝虫病的进程，用ＦＯＸＢＡＳＥ将全省的监测资料建立起丝虫病监测数据库和监测管理系统，为丝虫病监测工作提供理论依据。
The situation of filariasis monitoring in Fujian Province is rather complicated. The situation in various cities is different and the data are also scattered. In order to better understand the prevalence of filariasis in the province, put forward effective management measures to test the monitoring results, determine whether it meets the criteria for the elimination of filariasis and predict the time to extinction, arrange the process of eliminating filariasis, use FOXBASE will monitor the establishment of the province’s information on filariasis monitoring database and monitoring and management system to provide a theoretical basis for the monitoring of filariasis.
