地处闽北山区的建阳县,是全国水轮泵发展较快的县份之一.该县年降雨量1700～2100毫米,集雨面积1500平方公里以上的河流有3条,水利水力资源丰富,是福建省主要产粮县之一.1956年开始兴建水轮泵工程,至今已安装各种水轮泵145台,旱涝保收面积达71170亩,占现有水利设施的28.5%,总投资750余万元,投工163万工日,完成土石方187万立米.此外,为了综合利用水轮泵站,安装120型水轮机39台,已装机3950千瓦,占农村电站总装机容量的38%.既解决了当地照明问题,又促进了当地工农业发展.现将该县发展水轮泵的情况总结如下:
