范畴的扩展和语义链的形成主要透过转喻(metonymy)和隐喻(metaphor)这两条途径。现着重分析运用隐喻来研究over的认知语义延伸,意义在于强调认知语言学的理论在语言研究中的重要作用。
The expansion of categories and the formation of semantic chains are mainly through metonymy and metaphor. The emphasis is on the use of metaphor to study cognitive extension of over, which emphasizes the importance of the theory of cognitive linguistics in linguistic research.
