以适应本地区生态条件的多亲本杂交后代为母本,兼有墨麦血缘的旱肥类型材料为父本,使双亲性状得到最大程度互补,确保育种目标的要求。杂种后代采用生态派生系谱法,南北异地培育和穿梭育种,旨在扩大其品种适应性;在高世代,产量、主要病害抗性和品质分析同步进行鉴定和试验,较好地解决了高产与优质,高产与抗性的矛盾。该品种的育成较好地解决了为"它区小麦育种"的生态适应问题,明确了哈尔滨地区为我省北部和东部麦产区培育中晚熟品种生态型的技术关键,完善了春小麦广义生态育种理论和方法。
