经过无产阶级文化大革命的战斗洗礼,我们钢铁战线广大职工,为使我国的钢铁工业飞跃发展而进行着大量的平炉用氧试验。我厂的侧吹试验是从1973年3月2日开始准备,在炉外进行冷态模拟试验。并先后在混铁炉上进行了九次中间性试验。在2吨试验炉上进行了三次小型试验。在此基础上,从1973年3月21日开始共在平炉进行了六次工业生产试验。共炼钢48炉。又于1975年3月31日在炉前做了十七炉用氮气换氧的试验。初步摸索出氮气换氧
