人们常说戏曲事业的发展还远远不能满足人民群众的需要;人民群众的欣赏水平正在日益提高,而戏曲艺术还处于相当落后的水平。为了听取人民群众对戏曲演出的需求和意见,上海市戏曲改进协会最近通过各单位组织,邀请了喜爱戏曲,经常看戏并能反映周围群众对戏曲演出的意见的工人、部队的干部和战士、学生和里弄居民观众代麦,分别召开了几次座谈会。
