1949～1959年,党和政府领导全国人民开展了规模宏大的爱国卫生运动,取得了巨大的成绩。这不仅提高了人民群众的健康水平,起到了移风易俗的作用,而且充分显示了人民民主制度的优越性以及在这种制度下人民群众发挥出来的巨大力量。同时,党和政府也积累了丰富的卫生工作经验并形成了一套行之有效的工作方法。
From 1949 to 1959, the party and government led the people throughout the country in launching the grand patriotic health campaign and achieved great success. This not only enhanced the people’s health level, played a role in changing the customs of the people, but also fully demonstrated the superiority of the people’s democratic system and the tremendous force that the masses of the people exert under such a system. At the same time, the party and government have also accumulated rich experience in health work and formed a set of effective working methods.
