Renqiu Oilfield is a buried-hill fractured reservoir driven by bottom water. During the long-term development, the bottom water advances along the large cracks and forms a water cone, which reduces the production of crude oil in old wells year by year and increases the water content. Casing fenestration sidetrack drilling technology is a new drilling technology in the “dead zone” of old wells in buried hill reservoirs, so new requirements are also put forward for drilling fluids.
