In April， the Chinese government decided to set up Hebei Xiongan new area， which is similar to Shenzhen special economic zone and Shanghai Pudong new area. This information has caught a high attention.
But just four days before this news was announced， Wu Yafei， former party secretary of Xiong Country of Baoding was under investigation.
When his arrest was released officially， he had been dispeared for 100 days. While working in Qingyuan， Dingzhou， Wu yafei has contacted with two corrupt officials， one is Li Ningtai. During 2000～2003， Li was vice country chief of Qingyuan， Wu Yafei had been worked with him for over half a year. In Sep 2004， Li was arrested for the investigation. Another corrupt official is Cui Lixin. During 2000～2003， Cui worked in Baoding municipal party committee. Wu Yafei had been worked with him for 2 years. Last August， Cui was sentenced for the corruption.
