今年上海的五月春和景明,热闹非凡,第五届残运会、国际服装文化节、国际博物馆日,一个又一个大型体育、文化交流活动,让上海作为一个生机勃勃的大都会散发出无穷的魅力、凝聚起旺盛的人气而今年的“五一”长假,更让旅游市场大大“火”了一场。报载,上海在七天假期中接待各地旅游者逾250万,较去年同期增加12%;接待境外游客也较去年上升10.5%。几周前,徐匡迪市长对来沪参加美国亚洲协会11届年会的各国嘉宾说,上海力争以20年左右时间在经济总量、服务功能、创新能力等方面总体达到现代化国际大都市水平。在这个背景下,上海旅游业发展引起了人们的普遍关注。因为,旅游业发展的水平和规模,是衡量城市国际化程度的主要标志之一。
