The Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a mid-term assessment of the ”973 “ project, ”Basic Research on the Occurrence and Disease Resistance of Marine Breeding Important Biological Diseases". 12 subjects set reasonable, made important progress. Significant progress has been made in molecular biology of WSSV. WSSV infection of scientists, the prevalence of host and tissue specificity, the completion of the WSSV structural protein analysis and localization of glycoproteins, cDNA library construction, WSSV structural proteins and monoclonal antibodies to cell membranes of shrimp, WSSV junction
