素质教育就是提高学生整体素质的教育,是培养学生德、智、体全面发展的教育。要使学生学会做人、学会求知、学会劳动、学会生活、学会健体和学会审美,培养他们成为有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义公民。在英语教学中,我们既要发展学生的英语语言素质素养,培养和提高学生英语的语言运用能力,而且还要注重融德育教育于教学之中,这样才能提高学生的整体素质。中学英语教材更注重体现了这一特点。在一些课文题材里含有很多富有教育意义和思想内
Quality education is to improve the overall quality of students education is to develop students moral, intellectual and physical development of education. We should enable students to learn to be human, learn to know, learn to work, learn to live, learn to be healthy and learn to be aesthetic, and to cultivate them to be socialist citizens with ideals, morals, culture and discipline. In English teaching, we should not only develop students ’English language quality, cultivate and improve students’ language ability, but also pay attention to moral education in teaching, in order to improve the overall quality of students.
