步兵和工兵的新武器 最近装备的反掩体弹药(BDM)填补了步兵和工兵在突击“武器”方面长期存在的空白。BDM或XM141是一种长83mm的一次性使用弹药,主要用于摧毁有威胁的野战掩体。陆军研究发展工程中心的工程师以海军陆战队的肩射多用途突击武器(SMAW)为基础研制出BDM。该弹质量为7.1kg,有效射程15～500m,并配装夜用瞄准具。虽然BDM的用户大部分都是步兵或工兵,但该武器是一种“如果需要就带上”的武器系统,因此任何部队都能使用它。
New Weapons for Infantry and Engineers Bombing ammunition (BDM), which is recently equipped, fills the long-standing gap between infantry and engineers in assaulting “weapons.” BDM or XM141 is a 83mm long one-time use of ammunition, mainly used to destroy a threatening field bunker. Engineers at the Army's Research and Development Engineering Center developed BDMs based on the Marine Shoulder-launched Multi-Purpose Assault Weapon (SMAW). The bomb mass of 7.1kg, the effective range of 15 ~ 500m, and equipped with night sight. Although most of BDM's users are infantry or engineers, the weapon is a “if needed” weapon system so any unit can use it.
