全国科学技术名词审定委员会于1997年8月21日在北京召开了科技名词规范化工作成果新闻发布会。全国名词委员会主任卢嘉锡及中国科学院、新闻出版署、国家自然科学基金会、国家语委、国家科委、国家教委、广电部、中国科协及国家技术监督局等单位领导到会,并有全国近百家新闻出版机构的代表出席。
The National Science and Technology Terminology Accreditation Board held a press conference on the standardization of scientific and technological terms in Beijing on August 21, 1997. Lu Jiaxi, director of the National Committee of Noun and leaders from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Press and Publication Administration, the National Natural Science Foundation, the State Language Commission, the State Science and Technology Commission, the State Education Commission, the Radio, Film and Television Department, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the State Bureau of Technical Supervision attended the meeting. Nearly a hundred press and publication agencies attended.
