外周性造釉细胞瘤(peripheral ameloblastoma,PA),也称骨外或软组织造釉细胞瘤。相对地说是不常见的牙源性肿瘤。在组织学上与典型的骨内造釉细胞瘤是一致的。以前报道的病例几乎都是个案。在1987年的英文文献中,Buchner和Sciubba复习了32例记录完整的病例资料并作了综述。此后,又报道过3例。在对116例造釉细胞瘤的研究中,Waldron和El-Mofty发现5％的病例为PA。最近报道的所有PA病例,肿瘤部位位于牙槽骨表面的软组织内,仅有4例位子口腔的其它部位,其中3例在颊粘膜,1例位
Peripheral ameloblastoma (PA), also known as extraosseous or soft tissue ameloblastoma. Relatively speaking, is not common in odontogenic tumors. Histologically consistent with the typical intraosseous ameloblastoma. Almost all the cases reported before are cases. In the 1987 English literature, Buchner and Sciubba reviewed 32 documented cases and summarized them. Since then, another reported in 3 cases. In a study of 116 ameloblastomas, Waldron and El-Mofty found 5% of cases as PA. In all recently reported cases of PA, the tumor site is located in the soft tissue of the alveolar bone surface, with only four other sites in the oral cavity, three of which are located in the buccal mucosa and one in the buccal mucosa
