2006年11月17日,日本记录媒体工业协会(JRIA:Japan Recording-Media Industries Association)公布了以2006年数据为基础对记录媒体未来三年全球需求和产量的预测,预测的范围包括了光盘、磁光盘、磁带和小型存储卡产品。以前的预测一般只是针对下一年,而本次预测涵盖了直到2009年的今后三年市场变化情况。本次预测还有一些新的内容和特点,例如对蓝光光盘(BD和HD DVD)全球需求的预测,以及对小型存储卡类产品的预测角度从不同的格式分类转变为不同容量的分类。
On November 17, 2006, the Japan Recording Industry Association (JRIA) announced its forecast of global demand and output of recording media for the next three years based on 2006 data. The forecast range includes optical discs, Magneto optical disk, tape and small memory card products. The previous forecast was generally only for the next year, and this forecast covers the market changes until the next three years in 2009. Some new features and features of this forecast, such as the forecast of global demand for Blu-ray Discs (BDs and HD DVDs) and the prediction of small memory card products, have shifted from different format categories to different capacity categories.
