白居易曾在诗中写道:“周公恐惧流言日,王莽谦恭未篡时”。古时的流言,大概相当于今日的负面信息。那些被负面信息包裹的官员,想必日子不会好过。原南京市长季建业,就是一名被负面信息包裹的官员。在近一年的时间中,各种关于他的传言不绝于耳。甚至在百度搜索栏中输入季建业的名字,就会自动跳出“被查处”、“受贿”、“情妇”等关联词。直到上个月,尘埃落定。10月17日,中央纪委官方网站发布消息,确认季建业涉嫌严重违纪违法,目前正接受组织调查。这是在中央纪委一连串“打老虎”的行动中又一个落马的地方在职副省级官员。

On October 17, the official website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection released news that Ji Jianye was suspected of serious violation of discipline and law and is currently under investigation by the organization. This is another in-service deputy provincial official in a series of “crackdown on the tiger” operations of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
