On January 26, the opening ceremony of Michelin Shenyang Tire Co., Ltd.’s new factory was held ceremoniously in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking a total investment of nearly 1.5 billion U.S. dollars. It introduced the world’s most advanced technology, equipment and production technology of Michelin’s “High Performance Meridian Tire environmental relocation and expansion project ”officially put into operation. This is both Michelin’s largest investment project in China and the largest investment project of a single-tire factory for foreign-funded tire enterprises in China.
