本文讨论了南极海冰(包括沿岸海域的固定冰和外海域的广阔浮冰)形成的物理过程及冰藻的聚集机制,海冰的基本理化特性及微小生物群落的生态学特征。并阐述了海冰微小生物群对维持极地海洋初级生产,促进生物能量传递等所起的重要作用,从而证明南极海冰带是整个极区海洋生态系统中不可缺少的关键环节。
This paper discusses the physical process of the Antarctic sea ice (including the fixed ice in the coastal waters and the vast ice floe outside the sea), the mechanism of ice algae accumulation, the basic physical and chemical properties of sea ice and the ecological characteristics of micro-organisms. And explained the important role played by the sea ice microbiota in maintaining the primary production of polar oceans and promoting the transfer of bioenergy so as to prove that the Antarctic sea ice belt is an indispensable key link in the entire polar marine ecosystem.
