[Objective] To investigate the relationship between the polymorphism of Arg399Gln gene in X-ray repair cross complementing group 1 (XRCC1) and susceptibility to colorectal cancer in Chinese population. [Method] The search results of PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CNKI, VIP, China Biomedical Literature and Wanfang Database to the database published between April 10, 2016 and published on the XRCC1 Arg399Gln gene polymorphism and the Chinese population Correlative Literature of Susceptibility to Colorectal Cancer. Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 12.0 software to calculate the odds ratio (OR) and its 95% confidence interval (95% CI) by independent selection of literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and sensitivity analysis and publication bias estimation . [Results] A total of 11 studies were included, including 3502 patients and 4828 controls. Meta analysis showed that in the Gln / Gln vs Arg / Gln genetic model, the polymorphism of XRCC1 Arg399Gln gene was significantly associated with the risk of colorectal cancer in Chinese population. Compared with genotype Arg / Gln, genotype Gln / Gln Increased the risk of colorectal cancer in Chinese population (OR = 1.23, 95% CI: 1.04-1.46, P = 0.016). There was no significant correlation between the other genetic models. [Conclusion] In the Gln / Gln vs Arg / Gln genetic model, the polymorphism of XRCC1 Arg399Gln gene is associated with susceptibility to colorectal cancer in Chinese population. Genotype Gln / Gln increases the risk of colorectal cancer in Chinese population.
