孔子所处的是一个动荡不宁的社会,也是一个“女子与小人难养”的社会,他对当时女子和小人的生存处境格外关注。孔子仁学的目的是让作为统治阶级的君子能够克己修己,为女子和小人提供一个良好的成仁环境。
Confucius was in a turbulent society and also a society in which “women and villain are hard to support.” He paid particular attention to the existence of women and villains at that time. The purpose of Confucius’ benevolence is to enable the gentleman who is the ruling class to make self-sacrificing self-cultivation and provide a good environment of accomplishment for women and villains.
