忧患意识是激励一个民族及其青少年奋发图强的动能。注重对青少年的忧患意识的教育,既是中华民族的优良传 统,也是世界上的许多国家的成功经验。在我国进入全面建设小康社会、加快推进社会主义现代化的新的发展阶段,对青少年 进行忧患意识教育尤其显示出其迫切性。要积极响应江泽民同志关于全党同志要居安思危、增强忧患意识的号召,充分调动各 方面积极性,协调各方面力量,不断进行方法创新,切实抓好青少年的忧患意识的教育。
The sense of urgency is the motivation to inspire a nation and its young people to make a living. Education that focuses on adolescents’ sense of urgency is not only the fine tradition of the Chinese nation, but also the successful experience of many countries in the world. It is especially urgent that China should enter into a new stage of development of building an overall well-to-do society and speeding up socialist modernization, and to educate adolescents on their own anxiety. We must respond positively to Comrade Jiang Zemin’s call for comrades in the community to be vigilant in peace and enhance their sense of urgency, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all quarters, coordinate the efforts of all quarters, keep innovating new methods and earnestly educate adolescents about their sense of urgency.
