一种新型的掺镱硅酸盐晶体Yb~(3+)∶Sc_2SiO_5(Yb∶SSO)因其良好的激光特性而在近年来受到关注。从理论上计算了Yb∶SSO晶体在不同的抽运功率情况下的热透镜焦距,分析了晶体材料负折射率系数对激光器的影响。实验中采用平平短腔结构,研究了准连续(QCW)976nm激光二极管端抽运Yb∶SSO激光特性。在重复频率为50Hz、脉冲宽度为500μs、峰值抽运功率为128.8 W时,得到峰值功率为27.6 W的激光输出,光-光转换效率为21.4%。此时x和y方向上的光束质量因子M2为1.24和1.20。在实验中发现激光中心波长随抽运功率变化的规律,并理论分析了实验结果中双波长非同步起振的原因。
A new type of Ytterbium-doped silicate crystal, Yb 3+: Sr 2 SiO 5 (Yb: SiO), has drawn attention in recent years due to its good laser properties. The thermal focal length of Yb:SSO crystal under different pumping powers is calculated theoretically, and the effect of negative refractive index of the crystal material on the laser is analyzed. In the experiment, a flattened short cavity structure was used to study the Yb: SOF laser characteristics of quasi-continuous (QCW) 976nm laser diode. At a repetition rate of 50 Hz, a pulse width of 500 μs and a peak pumping power of 128.8 W, a laser output with a peak power of 27.6 W was obtained with a light-to-light conversion efficiency of 21.4%. The beam quality factors M2 in the x and y directions at this time are 1.24 and 1.20. The variation of laser center wavelength with pumping power was found experimentally, and the reason of dual wavelength asynchronism in the experiment was analyzed theoretically.
