Hetu Town is located in the east of Baoshan Dam in Yunnan and is a large population of Longyang District. The town has an area of 164.35 square kilometers, a population of 90,300 people, 36 primary and secondary schools, 15,000 elementary and middle school students, and 756 faculty members. In recent years, with the deepening of the rural education and management system reform, the Hetu Town Party Committee and the government have insisted that education should be placed in a strategic position of priority development, and should closely focus on the goal of building a strong town for education and continuously improve the teaching.
