Introduction There are three sets of evaluated data, for capture cross sections of ~(135～138)Ba from ENDF/B-6, JENDL-3.2 and JEF-2 in 1978, 1990 and 1983, respectively. These data have some difference in the high energy areas and do not agree with recent experimental data. The capture cross sections in the high energy areas are evaluated, and the results are in agreememt with the experimental data very well. The experimental data mainly referred to EXFOR.
