In July 2003, the Office of the Assistant Administrator of FAA Human Resources Management compiled and published the Air Traffic Controller Oc-cupational Handbook. Manual is divided into three volumes. Volume I complements the air traffic controller position with external resources. Volume II for the air traffic controller transfer. The third volume is welfare, retirement and statutory dismissal. The manual has been approved by the FAA and is currently the only one
