2002 is a World Heritage year. On November 16, 1972, UNESCO adopted the “Convention for the Protection of the World and Natural Heritage”, and decided to include the world’s recognized cultural relics and natural monuments of outstanding and universal value in the World Heritage List. The following is a list of China’s World Heritage Names, Provinces and Cities, Types of Heritage and Time of Grant: 1. Great Wall (Great Wall of Shandong, Badaling, Mutianyu and Jiayuguan sections belong to Hebei, Beijing and Gansu) - Cultural Heritage December 1987 2.
