China’s economy is one of the most dynamic economies in the world. China’s affluence means Asia’s prosperity. With its huge potential for economic development, China’s accession to the World Trade Organization is an exciting and promising event for China, for Asia and for other developing countries in the world. Asia has a unique human and resource advantage and eliminating discriminatory measures in developing countries in international trade will contribute to the reduction of poverty and economic development in Asia. China’s WTO membership will increase Asia’s access to new international trade talks
