Shenzhen Foods Corporation Meat Processing Factory is one of the city’s “vegetable basket” key projects. It was completed and put into production in July 1991 with a total investment of 55 million yuan (including the establishment of a trial-successful three-bird slaughtering and processing plant of 25 million in August 1995. Yuan), of which the municipal government allocates 11 million yuan to finance, and the rest are all self-financing loans by the Municipal Food Corporation. The plant is located in the Qingshuihe warehouse area in the northern part of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It has a processing and production base of 44,000 square meters, a first-class mechanized production line, and a secondary biochemical sewage treatment system with 5,000 heads.
