(日本)池田大作(1928- ) 出生于日本东京。20世纪40年代,追随日本创价学会第一任会长牧口常三郎、第二任会长户田城圣反对日本军国主义的侵华战争。1960年当选第三任会长。1968年9月8日,池田大作为督促日后中日邦交正常化,发表了著名的“日中邦交正常化倡言”。他访问中国,受到了周恩来、邓小平、江泽民等领导人的接见。池田大作在为世界和平奋斗的人生历程中,发表了大量的诗歌和论文随笔,著作等身,1981年荣获世界艺术文化学会授予的“桂冠诗人”称号;2002年获中华文学基金会颁发的第四届“理解与友谊”国际文学奖。
(Japan) Daisaku Ikeda (1928-) was born in Tokyo, Japan. In the 1940s, following the first president of the Soka Gakkai Society, Shojiro Muraguchi, and the second president, Toda Seijo, opposed the Japanese militarist war of aggression against China. In 1960 he was elected the third president. On September 8, 1968, Daisaku Ikeda urged the normalization of diplomatic ties between China and Japan in the future and issued the famous “Advocacy for the normalization of Japan-China diplomatic relations.” He visited China and received interviews from leaders such as Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, and Jiang Zemin. In the course of his struggle for world peace, Daisaku Ikeda published a large number of poems and essays, and published his works. In 1981, he was awarded the title of “The Poet Laureate” by the World Academy of Arts and Culture; in 2002, he was awarded the fourth prize by the Chinese Literature Foundation.
