朱贵(1779-1842年),字黼堂,河州(今临夏)人,历任守备、游击、参将、副将等职.清道光二十一年(1841年)八月奉任浙江金华协副将,参加抗英战斗,翌年正月率子昭南、(日韦)南、、共南及甘军九百多人,驻慈溪大宝山,二月初英国侵略军数千人直扑大宝山,朱贵亲执大旗指挥所部迎战.多次击退英侵略军疯狂进攻.敌方连续增兵,而他路清军避不援助.朱贵身受重伤,仍英勇反击,终因寡不敌众,与子昭南及二百军名将士同时壮烈牺牲. 州档案馆现藏有关朱贵将军的档案史料有:
