杞县地处豫东平原,交通便利,土质优良,耕地面积132.8万亩,小麦常年种植面积108万亩,平均亩产429 kg,是全国粮食主产县之一。该县土壤主要有3种类型,分别为石灰性潮壤土、石灰性潮砂土、石灰性潮黏土。杞县自2006年实施测土配方施肥项目以来,根据自身土壤特点,在小麦种植上建立了完善的分区配方施肥机制,科学制定配方,引导广大农民按方购肥,科学施用,大力推广测土配方施肥
