V_(20)A×激光4号是武汉师范学院生物系激光育种科研组一个重要的科研成果.其恢复系激光4号是1975年用He—Ne激光照射ⅠR8号发芽种子30分钟选出的早熟变异株,经过五年九代繁殖稳定的新品系,比原ⅠR8早熟23天,在湖北省属早熟中稻.株高为94.5cm,穗长为21.1cm,千粒重为24克.V_(20)A×激光4号系与V_(20)A等不育系多次测交筛选定型的新组合.现将其特点介绍如下:
