中国的博物馆从创立到今天,经历了多次变革。博物馆的职能也在不同的历史阶段发生着变化。将教育作为突出的职能是近阶段才开始的。对一座博物馆而言,其存在的意义不在于收藏了多少文物珍品,更在于如何利用自身资源、发挥社会作用。特别是2007年,在全国推行博物馆免费开放以来,为博物馆更好地融入社会、服务大众创造了契机,也使博物馆承担的社会责任更加突显。教育是博物馆工作者新的使命,博物馆工作者也要适应时代的要求,顺应社会的发展变化,完善博物馆的教育职能。
China’s museum has undergone many changes since its inception. The functions of the museum also change in different historical stages. It is only at this stage that education should be given prominence. For a museum, the significance of its existence lies not in the collection of treasures, but also in how to use its own resources and play a social role. Especially in 2007, since the museum was liberalized throughout the country, it has created an opportunity for the museum to better integrate itself into the community and serve the public. It has also made the museum more socially responsible. Education is a new mission of museum workers. Museum workers should also adapt to the requirements of the times, conform to the development and changes in society, and improve the educational functions of museums.
