调速型液力偶合器已在工业部门的风机水泵调速节能中获得广泛应用,经调速后的风机水泵一般可节电1/5~1/3。仅上海711所生产的偶合器每年可节电2亿度。对于新建工程来说只要在电动机和工作机之间设计出装偶合器的基础就可以很方便的用上调速液力偶力器,对于许多高速大功率带有普通式增速齿轮箱的风机水泵来说,要想在已有设备上加装调速偶合器,将是相当困难的。为了使大量在用的风机水泵实现调速运转,经过三年的努力711研究所分别研制出YDTE32/48,YDTE36/55、YDTE40/55、YDTE43/52、YDTE50/50五种规格的偶合器,分别代替了五种普通增速齿轮箱,这样用户在不改动地基的情况下即可实现设备的调速节能改造。如上钢一厂255m~3高
