1.再做一次种子发芽试验,以便计算种子用量。一般每亩地准备15斤种子,经精选后,有10～12斤就足够了。2.精选种子。将准备育苗用的稻种做一次风选(或筛、簸),除去杂质、秕粒,选晴朗天气晾种。3.备足育苗用营养土。用优质腐熟粪肥混拌无草籽的壤土或园田土做营养土,每个苗床需300斤左右(切不可用炕土或扒房土做营养土)。将营养土捣细、筛好,送到秧田地附近,堆大堆存放。
