威廉·莎士比亚是文艺复兴时期英国最伟大的诗人与戏剧家,其对中国的影响主要是通过翻译来实现的。民国时期在中国的文化史上是一个承前启后的特殊时期,这时期莎士比亚的作品普遍受到欢迎与推崇有其深层次的文化因素。
William Shakespeare was the greatest poet and dramatist in the Renaissance in Britain. His influence on China was mainly achieved through translation. The period of the Republic of China in the history of Chinese culture is a special period that has been inherited since the time when Shakespeare’s works were generally welcomed and respected with its profound cultural factors.
