日本住友金属工业股份有限公司和歌山钢厂用压力机预定型法提高了轧坯收得率。众所周知,影响轧坯收得率的主要因素是由鱼尾及折叠所引起的切头损失。住友金属和歌山钢厂在其2号初轧机上安装了1台3000t预定型用压力机和连铸坯转盘及移位机。压力机将连铸坯头尾在轧制前压成最佳形状,以便使鱼尾最小。每种轧坯规格的最佳定型量(ΔW),位置(S)及压模半径(R)在技术研究室里试验确定。图1表示压力机预定型后的连铸坯外形,图2为定型量与切头损耗之间的关系。在本例情况下,ΔW的最佳值为120mm,S的最佳值为240mm,R的最佳值为750mm。用这种压力机预定型法可使轧坯收得率提高1.1%。表1为连铸坯预定型用压力机规格。

As we all know, the main factor affecting the yield of billets is the loss of cut caused by the tail and the folding. Sumitomo Metal Wakayama Mills installed on its No. 2 mill a 3000t precast press and a slab turret and a displacement machine. Press will be the first and the end of the slab before rolling into the best shape, in order to minimize the fish tail. The optimum setting (ΔW), position (S) and die radius (R) for each billet specification were determined experimentally in the technical laboratory. Figure 1 shows the shape of the slab after the pre-press of the press, and Figure 2 shows the relationship between the setting amount and the head loss. In this case, the optimum value of ΔW is 120 mm, the optimum value of S is 240 mm, and the optimum value of R is 750 mm. Using this type of press pre-setting method can increase the yield of billets by 1.1%. Table 1 for the continuous casting slab pre-press specifications.
