一九八四、八五年,国家教委先后两次下文到各高等院校,要求对理工学院学生、研究生开设和加强《文献检索与利用》课程。这一决策,意义深远。本文谨就这门课程的性质、内容、教学环节及其开设的深远意义等问题,提出一点个人看法。一、课程性质本课程是一门兼有语言课、方法课、工具课诸特点的课程。 1.语言课。它讲的非一般英、俄、日语性质的自然语言,而是检索语言,起沟通“存储”与“检索”这两者之间的媒介或桥梁作用。检索语言可以归纳为两大体系:分类法体系和主题法体系。前者用分类号,这叫号码语言,后者称主题词,是规范化了的自然
In 1984 and 1985, the State Education Commission twice successively addressed higher education institutions and demanded the opening and strengthening of “literature retrieval and utilization” courses for Polytechnic students and postgraduates. This decision is of far-reaching significance. This article would like to put forward a few personal opinions on the nature, content, teaching links and the far-reaching significance of this course.
