At present, the development of dictionaries and dictionaries in our country is booming. However, there are no special investigations on how dictionaries have any opinions on dictionaries that have been published or on what dictionaries they will be published. In order to ensure and improve the quality of dictionaries so as to satisfy the objective needs as much as possible, this phenomenon of “editor’s compilation, reader’s reading” and mutual sequestration should become the requirement of the dictator to actually understand the users of his dictionaries. Users enthusiastically express their wishes to dictionaries. The article published here provides some specific information on how the editors should investigate the readers. It certainly presumably arouses the interest and association of the dictionaries in our country. Although the original author of the article was a British, the subject of the investigation was the United Kingdom Students, though the investigation time is far from now.
