The Central People’s Government Committee held on December 2 is an extremely important meeting. The meeting analyzed the causes, nature and future of price increases in 1949 and stipulated specific plans for stabilizing prices, that is, the estimate of fiscal revenues and expenditures for the year 1950 and the measures for the issue of the people’s victory in the course of the settlement of public bonds. The price issue is of urgent concern to the people throughout the country.
