广州铁路中心医院继北京铁路总院之后,从德国西门子公司引进了一台MD型15MV高能量医用直线加速器,并陆续引进配套设备模拟定位仪(日本东芝产)、放射剂量测定仪(美国番马公司产),已于1990年6月26日正式用于临床治疗肿瘤病人。该机的优点归纳有:射线能量高,分X线2档,电子线6档;射线分布均匀,重复性好,保证病人接受剂量的准确,提高了治疗效果;
