1978年初春,刚刚20岁出头的施平怀揣着山东海洋学院(现为青岛海洋大学)的入学通知书,离开了家乡福建省平潭县的一个小海岛。他独自一人跨海登上了北上的列车。这是他生平第一次出省,去遥远而陌生的海滨城市青岛读书。从此,他看到了一个更广阔的世界。随后,在他的人生轨迹上闪烁起一个个令人瞩目的亮点。由于施平在海洋物理和海洋遥感技术应用研究方面取得了突出的成果,他在海洋科技界声望日高,成为中国科学院著名的海洋遥感专家和学科带头人,被誉为我国海洋科技领域的一颗冉冉升起的新星。
In the early spring of 1978, just over 20 years old, Shi Ping carried a notice of admission to Shandong Ocean University (now Qingdao Ocean University) and left a small island in his hometown of Pingtan County, Fujian Province. He alone across the sea boarded the train north. This is the first time in his life out of the province, to distant and unfamiliar coastal city of Qingdao study. Since then, he has seen a wider world. Subsequently, in his trajectory of life flashed a striking bright spot. As a result of his outstanding achievements in applied research of marine physics and remote sensing technology, he has enjoyed a high reputation in the marine science and technology community and has become a well-known expert and academic leader of marine remote sensing in the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is regarded as one of China’s marine science and technology fields A rising star.
