今年是本世纪最后一年,是我国和我省各项改革、建设事业迈向新世纪的关键一年。在新旧世纪之交的关键时刻,江总书记提出“加强和改进新形势下的思想政治工作是全党的一件大事,也是宣传思想工作的重中之重”。中共中央发出的《关于加强和改进思想政治工作的若干意见》的重要文件也明确提出,“企业、农村、学校、科研院所、街道和其他基层单位,都要根据自己的实际,解决好把思想政治工作落到实处的问题。企业思想政治工作要结合深化改革、建立现代企业制度、提高经济效益来进行。要加强企业文化建设,培育社会主义企业精神,引导广大职工更好地发挥主人翁作用”。全国人大九届三次会议通过的朱总理的《政府工作报告》,也对企业改革以及加强企业的思想政治工作提出了新的要求。党中央的这些方针政策,既对开展社会主义企业文化建设提出了明确要求,也为我们加强和改进企业思想政治工作开辟了广阔天地。

At the crucial juncture of the new century and the present, General Secretary Jiang said: “Strengthening and improving ideological and political work in the new situation is a major event for the entire party and a major priority in propaganda and ideological work.” The important document issued by the CPC Central Committee on “Several Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Work” also clearly states that “enterprises, rural areas, schools, research institutes, streets and other grassroots units must solve their own problems according to their own reality The ideological and political work should be carried out in real terms.The ideological and political work of enterprises should be combined with deepening the reform and establishing a modern enterprise system and improving economic efficiency.To strengthen the corporate culture and cultivate the socialist enterprise spirit and guide the workers and staff to better utilize their masters effect”. The “Report on the Work of the Government” by Premier Zhu adopted at the Third Plenary Session of the Ninth NPC also raises new requirements for the reform of enterprises as well as strengthening the ideological and political work of enterprises. These guidelines and policies of the Party Central Committee have not only set forth clear requirements for the development of socialist enterprise culture, but also opened up vast fields for us to strengthen and improve the ideological and political work of enterprises.
