如今一提起广德楼,青年人陌生,中年人模糊,只有老年人记忆犹新。而对许许多多的老北京戏迷们来说,提起广德楼就自然勾起他们的戏瘾和它的许多沧桑往事。广德楼始建于光绪初年,一些京剧名伶,如程长庚、余紫云、梅巧玲、余三胜、汪桂芬等都曾在这里组班唱戏。民国年间,俞振庭创立的斌庆社亦长期演出于此。著名京剧表演艺术家李万春先生曾在这里大显身手,与北京的老戏迷们结下了深厚情意,而李万春先生也成为观众心目中的“一代宗师”。可惜广德楼的命运不佳,毁于火灾。解放后,在北京市政府和彭真市长的支持下,在广德楼的旧址上重新建起了“前门小剧
Now mention Guangde House, strangers to young people, middle-aged people are vague, only old people remember. Mr. Li Wanchun, a famous Beijing opera performing artist, once showed his talents here and formed profound feelings with the old fans in Beijing. Mr. Li Wanchun also became the “grand master” of the audience. Unfortunately, the fate of Kwong Tak House, destroyed in a fire. After the liberation, with the support of the Beijing municipal government and Mayor Peng Peng, the former site of Guangde House was rebuilt.
