新时期,思想政治工作是经济工作和其他一切工作的生命线。思想政治工作是企业发展的精神动力,随着改革开放和社会主义市场经济深入发展,思想政治工作也面临新的挑战。做好新时期国有企业思想政治工作,不仅关系到职工队伍的和谐稳定与企业发展,而且关系到社会的和谐稳定和社会经济的发展。这就对新形势下如何做好企业思想政治工作提出了更高的要求。作为企业思想政治工作者必须认真明确思想政治工作的目标、任务,不断改进思想政治工作的方法、措施。
