高致病性禽流感是禽类的一种毁灭性疫病,1959年至2003年全球暴发20多起,给养禽业带来了重创、造成巨额经济损失。1995年,于康震研究员带领课题组专门开始禽流感系列诊断方法,特别是迫切需要的疫苗预防技术研究。经过10年努力,终于研制成功了禽流感分型诊断技术和H5N2亚型禽流感灭活疫苗,奠定了我国禽流感防制技术的基础,并在国际上首次研制成功了流感病毒反向遗传疫苗——新型H5N1禽流感灭活疫苗,在我国防探高致病性禽流感的阻击战中发挥了中流砥柱的支撑作用。该成果“H5亚型禽流感灭活疫苗的研制及应用”获2005年度国家科技进步一等奖。
HPAI is a devastating bird disease, with more than 20 global outbreaks from 1959 to 2003, which brought heavy losses to the poultry industry and caused huge economic losses. In 1995, Yu Kangzhen researcher led the group to start a series of bird flu diagnostic methods, especially the urgent need of vaccine prevention technology research. After 10 years of hard work, finally successfully developed a bird flu diagnostic classification of subtype H5N2 subtype of bird flu inactivated vaccine, laid the foundation for prevention and control of bird flu in our country, and the first successful international development of the influenza virus reverse genetic vaccine - The new H5N1 bird flu inactivated vaccine has played a key role in the blockade against the HPAI in our country. The results of “H5 subtype of bird flu inactivated vaccine development and application” won the 2005 National Science and Technology Progress Award.
